Dr Tim van Wanrooij (he/him) is a white (Dutch), queer/gay, cisgender, and neurodivergent (dyslexic) Counselling Psychologist. Tim is recognised as an insightful and respected voice on relationships, sexuality, LGBTQAI+ populations, intersectionality and anxiety. He practices psychological therapy in Dublin and offers a bilingual service (Dutch and English), drawing on a dynamic mixture of experiences across several years and spheres of practice. His approach is based on Emotion Focused Therapy, embracing a feedback-informed model and he pays special attention to the impact of intersectionality. Tim has been featured in multiple articles and podcasts, and regularly hosts workshops and webinars. He currently chairs the Division of Counselling Psychology for the Psychological Society of Ireland.
